This organism has been genetically modified and is GMO2 / pDM1 is a tetracycline selectable synthetic plasmid containing a p15a ori that is maintained at ~10 copies per cell. mcr-2 is cloned into the multiple cloning site of this plasmid, and is IPTG-inducible and driven by a Ptac promoter.pDM1 sequence: Genbank MN128719.The sequence of the mcr-2 ORF is available on request.
