|Cell Line Description:||Hybrid generated by fusion of bromodeoxyuridine-resistant mutant of rat glioma cell line C6 (C6-BU-1, ECACC catalogue number 08062563) and the 6-thioguanine-resistant mouse L cell fibroblast line A9 (ECACC catalogue number 08062526) using inactivated Sendai virus. Cells formed from such a fusion are multipolar and extend small processes.|

|Subculture Routine:||Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10,000 cells/cm² using 0.05% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.|
