In Hep-2 cells from faeces of an HIV-positive 63 year-old patient positive for Candida in the oropharynx in 1993 by Andrew Bailey of the Manchester Central Laboratory Services. Passaged twice in Hep-2 cells prior to depositing into NCPV.
