Cell Line Description

This F2 subclone was developed from original AtT-20, an andrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) secreting cell line established from murine pituitary tumour. These cells are readily transfected using a standard calcium phosphate protocol.

Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 to 1:5, seeding at 1 x 10⁴ - 3 x 10⁴ cells/cm², using 0.05% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO₂; 37°C. Cell clumps must be broken up to prevent cells growing in suspension.
