Cell Line Description

Established by EBV transformation of mononuclear cells from peripheral blood of a 41 year old male. The patient was shown to be heterozygote for Xeroderma pigmentosum (XP) group A, a rare, autosomal recessive disease with DNA repair deficiencies. A cell line established from a child of this patient with XP is available (LB708, ECACC catalogue no. 98062337).
